Cody Longo was an actor, musician, model, and music producer. He was known for his roles in the television series “Hollywood Heights” and “Days of Our Lives.”

He loved music, teaching himself to play piano at a very young age. Cody Longo released his first single, “Atmosphere,” in 2012 and the single “She Said” in 2013.

In 2016, he had roles on the ABC series “Nashville,” “Secrets and Lies,” and “The Catch.” Mr. Longo starred in the pilot for “Santa Cruz” on Fox and in the ABC Family teen drama “Make It or Break It.” He also appeared in the movies “High School” and “Piranha 3D” in 2010.

Cody Longo worked with several charities and campaigned to keep art programs in schools. He headed his own non-profit, LiveAlive and was heavily involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Pencils of Promise.

He struggled with alcohol addiction and died at home in his sleep.

A promising young actor is gone, but Cody Longo will always be “In Heaven with the Stars.”
